International Clinic Reception

Seoul Paik Hospital runs an independent reception area for its International Clinic patients.

Consultation

Our International Clinic Doctors will provide initial consultations. When necessary, International Clinic doctors will refer you to the appropriate doctors of Seoul Paik Hospital with the required specialties. Upon referral, you will receive priority consultation with the aid of our coordinators.

Diagnostic Tests & Therapeutic Procedures

The attending physician will perform diagnostic evaluations when necessary. All our International Clinic patients receive top priority for the necessary procedures and the results will be available within an hour. Your doctor will explain to you the results and provide you with appropriate care.

Payment

Payment is also handled by the independent reception area of the International Clinic.

Prescription & Pharmacy

Prescription of drugs and its dispensation are separated in the Korean health care system. Thus, with the exception of emergency centers, Korean hospitals are not allowed to provide their out-patients with pharmaceuticals. Instead, doctors provide the prescriptions and patients must visit a pharmacy in order to receive the prescribed medication. Prescriptions are valid in all pharmacies. However, for those patients unfamiliar of the local geography, we will provide directions to some of the nearest pharmacies upon request. Our coordinators will be at your service.

◎ Emergency Center

Seoul Paik Hospital runs a 24-hour emergency center on its 1st floor. Our English and Japanese fluent staffs are on-all-24-hours a day and other language speaking patients will be provided with interpretation services from our collaborating interpreting service center upon request.

◎ Billing

We honor cash (KRW) and major international credit cards.
Documents for private health insurance reimbursements will be prepared for you upon request. English medical certificates and receipts are also available..
Special contracts for billing can be arranged with foreign companies and embassies. We also accept guarantee billing from insurance or health service agencies. Currently, we have contracts with International SOS, AIOA,AIU,ASAHI, CHUBB,FUJI, JI, MITSUISUMITOMO, NISSAY SOWA, NEW INDIA, SECOM,SUMI SEI, and NIPPONKOA and honor their guarantee of billings.
